Breast Up-lift (Mastopexy)

Breast Up-lift (Mastopexy)

The glandular breast tissue and overlying skin undergoes changes over the years. In certain circumstances, these changes are aggravated by pregnancy and/or breast feeding. This leads to lack of fullness of your breast, emptiness of our upper breast, drooping of lower breast and your nipple pointing towards your feet.

I offer breast up-lift using various incisions (around areola alone, vertical and anchor shaped (wise pattern) incisions). This will allow to lift the breast, restore upper breast fullness (partially) and correct the position of your nipple. If you need to achieve long lasting upper breast fullness, some ladies will need to have an implant inserted at the same time (Mastopexy augmentation). After clinically assessing your needs and expectation, I would be able to individualise your options to achieve the best long-term results.

You will have a telephone consultation with one of our experienced patient care coordinators (PCC). The PCC will discuss regarding your concerns, needs and give necessary advice to prepare you for the consultation.

You will have the opportunity to discuss your concerns and requirements with our team. Our team will ensure that, you receive both verbal and written information about your surgery and discuss financing options to suit your needs.

Our team of professionals (Consultant and Patient care coordinator) will discuss regarding your surgery. We will discuss regarding the type of scar, risk associated with surgery and show you representative pictures of post-operative outcome.

You will meet our excellent pre-operative and anaesthetic team who will be taking care of you on the day of your surgery. The surgery will be done as a day case procedure and you would be able to go home on the same day. Most of my patients having breast up-lift surgery alone would be able to go home on the day of their surgery. If you are having breast up-lift along with insertion of implants (Mastopexy augmentation), you will be admitted overnight in the hospital and will be discharged home next day after clinical review.

After surgery you will be in the post-operative care unit and will have a one-to-one nursing care. Once you are comfortable, and our rigorous post-operative discharge requirements are met, you would be allowed to go home with your bystander.

I offer breast up-lift surgery for cosmetic reasons only in the independent sector.
